Diving Medicals : HSE Commercial
HSE Approved Medical Examiner:
All commercial divers covered by the “diving at Work Regulations 1997” must see an HSE approved medical examiner every 12 months, so that their fitness to dive can be assessed. A careful assessment is made of any medical condition in relation to the safety of the diver and their work activities.
The Medical Examination:
The examination takes about an hour and includes a full physical examination, measurement of lung function, and a physical fitness test. An ECG ( heart tracing) may be done depending on your age.
If this is your first ever HSE medical you will also have a hearing test, blood test and ECG (heart tracing recording).
Your examination will be undertaken in our fully equipped, modern clinic.
Please bring with you:
- Diving Qualifications & Log Book
- MA2 Form from last medical examination
- Completed questionnaire confirmed by GP (for first examination)
- Urine sample
- Trainers
