About Diver Medicals

Dr Clare Newell BM, BS, MRCGP:

Dr Newell is a General Practitioner and a Civilian Medical Practitioner in Army Primary Health Care at MOD Stafford.

She has been a recreational diver for several years, regularly diving in the UK and abroad. This year she became a DSAT Tec Deep diver (TEC-50). Dr Newell completed her diving medicine training at the Wirral's North West Hyperbaric Unit.

Dr Newell is a HSE approved medical examiner of divers and a UK Sports Diving Medical Committee (UKSDMC) referee.
